Gautam Allahbadia

Gautam Allahbadia is a renowned expert in in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and has made significant contributions to reproductive medicine in India. He is credited with pioneering the country's first trans-ethnic surrogate pregnancy and the first pregnancy for a same-sex couple. With a background in a family of doctors, Gautam initially aspired to be an artist but eventually established himself in the medical field by setting up a small clinic in his garage, which grew into a prominent IVF center. He has authored various papers and books on reproductive health and serves as an advisor to the Indian government on assisted reproduction guidelines.
