Gavrilo Kovačević

Gavrilo Kovačević is the president of the municipality of Zemun, Serbia. He has recently been in the news due to his opposition to the planned changes in public transport lines affecting the residents of Zemun Polje and Batajnica, which would have limited access to the city center. Kovačević has expressed concern over the proposed service reductions and has not condemned the threats of blocking the Pupin Bridge by citizens opposing the transport changes.
