Gelqui Gómez
Gelqui Gómez is the commander general of the Fire Department of Trujillo, Peru. He was recently in the news following a tragic incident at the Real Plaza shopping center, where the roof of the food court collapsed, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuring many others. Gómez confirmed that emergency responders rescued 13 people from the rubble and provided updates on the ongoing rescue operations involving more than 200 police and firefighters.
