Gem Austin, along with his wife, co-owns COCOA Coffee House on Harbour Island. He has experienced ongoing instability in the island's electricity supply, noting that outages have become so frequent that residents have adapted by making alternative plans. Austin shared that while their business was protected by a backup generator, the outages have still caused disruptions at home.
