Gena Heraty is an Irish national and the director of the Sainte Hélène orphanage operated by the organization Nos petits frères et sœurs in Kenscoff, Haiti. She was recently in the news due to her abduction, along with eight employees and a three-year-old child, by armed bandits on August 3rd.
