General Martínez
Maximiliano Hernández Martínez was a Salvadoran military officer and politician who served as the President of El Salvador from 1931 to 1944 after leading a coup against President Arturo Araujo. His regime was marked by authoritarian rule and repression, as well as a focus on modernization and economic development.
