Genevieve Campbell

Genevieve Campbell is a primatologist and leader of the Avoid, Reduce, Restore and Conserve (ARRC) taskforce under the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). She is critical of the Martabe mine's expansion, stating that no great ape species can thrive in conditions exacerbated by mining activities, and advocates for stronger protections for the Tapanuli orangutan.
