Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba

Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba is a Zambian politician who served as the Minister of Defence under President Michael Sata from 2011 to 2013. He gained notoriety for his involvement in various political controversies and was convicted for corruption, leading to a five-year prison sentence. In April 2023, he was pardoned on medical grounds by President Hakainde Hichilema, with whom he ran as a vice-presidential candidate in the 2016 elections.
