George Raftopoulos

George Raftopoulos is the Chief Provincial Inspector of the Gauteng Traffic Police, known for his long-standing collaboration with various law enforcement units, particularly in operations against organized crime. Recently, he came into the spotlight during the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, where he denied allegations of interfering in the arrest of murder suspect Katiso Molefe. Raftopoulos claimed that his involvement in dispatching a helicopter during the operation was solely to assist his colleagues, amidst claims of police corruption and political interference within South Africa's police service.
