Georgía Avdíkou

Georgía Avdíkou is a kindergarten teacher originally from Thessaloniki, Greece, who recently became the first beneficiary of a new municipal housing program in Rethymno aimed at supporting educators and doctors working in remote communities. After moving to Rethymno to pursue her passion for teaching, she faced significant housing costs, paying €400 per month. However, with the new program, her rent will decrease to just €50, significantly easing her financial burden.
