Georgios Kaviris

Georgios Kaviris is an associate professor of Seismology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) and the director of the Seismology Laboratory. He is known for his expertise in seismic anisotropy and has been actively involved in studying the unique seismic activity in the Santorini-Amorgos region, providing insights into the ongoing series of earthquakes that have been affecting the area.
