Gerald M. Barbarito

Gerald M. Barbarito is an American bishop who has served as the fifth bishop of the Diocese of Palm Beach since 2003. He was recently succeeded by Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez after announcing his retirement upon reaching the age of 75. Barbarito has had a distinguished career in the Church, holding various leadership positions including bishop of the Diocese of Ogdensburg and auxiliary bishop of Brooklyn.
