Gerard den Elt

Gerard den Elt is the Secretary General of the Dutch Sports Journalists Association (NSP), known for his outspoken views on media relations in sports. Recently, he expressed strong disapproval of speed skater Jutta Leerdam's decision to primarily engage with public television instead of addressing the waiting journalists, calling her behavior inappropriate and disrespectful to both the media and the Dutch public.
