Gerlóczy Gedeon

Gerlóczy Gedeon was an architect and a notable figure in preserving the legacy of the Hungarian painter Csontváry Kosztka Tivadar. He discovered Csontváry's hidden artworks in 1919 and recognized their value, subsequently purchasing and restoring them. His efforts culminated in the establishment of a dedicated museum for Csontváry's works, ensuring that the artist's contributions to Hungarian art would be cherished for generations.
