Germaine Tailleferre

Germaine Tailleferre was a prominent French composer and a member of the group of composers known as Les Six. Born in 1892, she was recognized for her innovative contributions to classical music, particularly in the early 20th century. Despite facing significant gender biases in her career, Tailleferre broke through to achieve notable success, composing works that encompassed a range of styles, including operas, orchestral pieces, and chamber music.
