Gervais Boga Sako

Gervais Boga Sako is a prominent Ivorian political activist and the president of the International Foundation for the Observation and Monitoring of Human Rights and Peaceful Life (FIDHOP). He has been an outspoken critic of the Ivorian government, particularly against the regime of Alassane Ouattara, and has participated in mobilizations against his fourth presidential candidacy. Exiled since June 2025, Sako has consistently advocated for democratic rights and freedoms in Côte d'Ivoire, recently voicing support for French politician Jean-Luc Mélenchon amidst controversy surrounding the upcoming 2025 presidential election.
