Ghassan Hassan Hamoud

Ghassan Hassan Hamoud is a former assistant governor for planning in the Dhi Qar province of Iraq. He has been involved in initiatives to enhance tourism in the region, particularly following the visit of Pope Francis to the archaeological site of Ur. Hamoud has played a key role in the development of the Ur tourism city project, aimed at improving infrastructure and services to attract religious tourism.
