Gheorghe Alexa

Gheorghe Alexa is the deputy director of the private company Decebal-Impex, which was involved in a public procurement contract for a rabies vaccination campaign. Recently, he was found guilty of influence peddling by a court in Chișinău and sentenced to two years in prison, suspended, after being accused of attempting to bribe an inspector from the National Food Safety Agency to overlook compliance issues in the execution of the contract.
