Gheorghe Efros

Gheorghe Efros, a 34-year-old Moldovan man, has recently been in the news for his involvement in a violent incident where he allegedly stabbed his ex-partner, Elena, in front of their children. He was arrested on December 16-17, 2023, presenting with blood on his clothes and inebriated, and is facing charges of aggravated violence and previously attempted femicide. Efros has a history of violent behavior and was under probation for prior assaults on Elena. During the court proceedings, he admitted to being jealous and under the influence of alcohol and drugs but denied intending to harm her.
