Gheorghe Neagoe

Gheorghe Neagoe is a 77-year-old master craftsman from Gura Călui, Olt, known for his expertise in weaving rushes. As one of the last remaining artisans in his village, he continues to create traditional items such as mats and bags, sustaining a craft that has been passed down through generations.
