Giancarlo Guerrero is a celebrated Costa Rican conductor known for his dynamic performances and innovative programming. With a career that has garnered him six Grammy Awards, he is currently the music director of the Nashville Symphony and has recently been appointed as the music director of the Sarasota Orchestra. Guerrero has conducted many of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic and the London Philharmonic. His return to Costa Rica to lead the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional showcases his deep connection to his roots and his commitment to enriching the cultural landscape of his home country.
