Gianni Vasino

Gianni Vasino was a renowned Italian journalist and television presenter, best known for his long-standing role on the sports program '90° minuto' on Rai. Born on November 5, 1936, in Serravalle, he grew up in Sanremo and began his career with Rai in 1970 after winning a prestigious contest. Over his 22-year tenure on '90° minuto', he became a beloved figure in Italian sports broadcasting, covering major sporting events such as the World Cup, European Championships, and the Olympics. Vasino was also an accomplished writer, authoring books on crime and sports, including his autobiography. He passed away at the age of 88 in Genoa, leaving behind a legacy of passionate sports commentary.
