Gideon Kutz was a prominent foreign correspondent for 'Kol Israel' based in Paris, recognized for his extensive reporting on significant global events over a career spanning several decades. Born in 1948 in Lodz, Poland, to Holocaust survivors, he immigrated to Israel in 1957 and settled in Paris in 1978. Kutz covered critical historical moments, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Yugoslav Wars, and the Arab Spring, and was known for his adventurous spirit and deep knowledge of European affairs. He also contributed to various media outlets, including 'Yedioth Ahronoth' and Channel 2, and served as a professor of communication and culture at Paris 8 University.
