Giedrė Pilikauskaitė is a rising star in Lithuanian handball, recognized for her impressive performance as a left winger. At just 17, she made her debut for the Lithuanian women's national team and has quickly established herself as a key player. In the recent season, she transitioned from Vilnius 'Sostinės tauro' to 'Eglė', finishing as the league's top scorer for the third consecutive year with 202 goals in 21 matches. Pilikauskaitė's talent was further highlighted during the 2025 World Championship qualifying tournament, where she scored 29 goals, making her the tournament's leading scorer. Recently, she announced her move to play for 'Sosnica Gliwice' in Poland, a decision influenced by her desire for personal and professional growth, as well as the opportunity to join other Lithuanian players in the league.
