Gil Alexander

Gil Alexander is a 72-year-old devout religious Jew and peace activist who works to protect Palestinian shepherds from intimidation by Jewish settlers in the northern Jordan Valley. He is part of a network called the Jordan Valley Activists, advocating for peaceful coexistence and opposing settlement expansion in the region. Despite his Zionist beliefs, Alexander focuses on the borders established before the 1967 Middle East war and has become a prominent figure in efforts to provide solidarity to the Palestinian community.
