Gilson Viana
Gilson Viana, known as Mutum, was a former military police officer in Roraima, implicated in illegal mining activities in the Yanomami Indigenous Territory. He was recognized for his violent reputation and was considered one of the most feared gunmen in the area. Viana was shot and killed in December 2024 during a bar altercation while being wanted by authorities for his involvement in organized crime linked to illegal gold extraction.
