Giorgio Carbognin
Giorgio Carbognin was one of the accomplices in the notorious Maso family murders that took place in 1991 in Montecchia di Crosara, Verona. Alongside Pietro Maso and others, he participated in the brutal killings of Antonio and Rosa Maso, which shocked Italy and led to discussions about the socio-economic pressures of the time. Carbognin was sentenced to 26 years in prison but was released after serving a portion of his sentence.
