Giorgio Valli

Giorgio Valli is an experienced Italian basketball coach with nearly 50 years in the profession. He has had a significant impact on the sport, having served as an assistant coach under Ettore Messina during Virtus Bologna's EuroLeague-winning season in 1998. Valli has also held head coaching positions in both Serie A1 and Serie A2, achieving notable success including a Legadue Cup victory with Scafati in 2006 and two championship titles in the UAE with Shabab Al-Ahli between 2020 and 2021. Recently appointed as the head coach of VL Pesaro, he expressed his excitement for the opportunity to lead the team.
