Giorgis Xylouris

Giorgis Xylouris, also known as Psarogiorgis, is a renowned Cretan musician celebrated for his mastery of the lute and his dedication to preserving and innovating the rich musical traditions of Crete. He comes from a distinguished musical family and leads the Xylouris Ensemble, which showcases traditional Cretan music while blending it with contemporary influences, particularly through his collaboration with drummer Jim White in the duo Xylouris White.
