Giovani Yule

Giovani Yule is the current director of the Unidad de Restitución de Tierras (URT) in Colombia, an agency dedicated to restoring land to those displaced by violence. He was recently in the news following a violent attack in Caloto, Cauca, where a motorbike bomb exploded near his home, prompting him to condemn the violence and call for increased security measures for the community. Despite the attack occurring close to his residence, Yule reported that he was safe and expressed deep concern for the safety and tranquility of the local population.
