Giovanna Boccalini

Giovanna Boccalini was a pioneering figure in Italian women's football, known for founding the first female football team in Italy during the fascist regime in 1933. Later becoming a partisan and a city councilor in Milan, her contributions to sports and society have been recognized with tributes, including a stadium being named in honor of her and her sisters.
