Giovanni Battista Meneghini (1903-1971) was an Italian businessman and opera manager, best known for his marriage to the renowned soprano Maria Callas. He played a significant role in Callas's early career, serving as her manager and promoting her talent during its formative years. Their tumultuous relationship, marked by both personal and professional challenges, ultimately ended in separation as Callas pursued a more prominent career in the opera world, notably following her marriage to the shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis.
