Giulia Piras is a 19-year-old entrepreneur who recently took over a newsstand in Farneta, a small village in the Modena Apennines. Her decision to run the newsstand, rather than pursue university, reflects her passion for the local community and her desire to maintain small businesses in rural areas. Giulia's initiative was sparked by a casual comment made by her mother about the newsstand being for sale, leading her to realize it was a dream she wanted to pursue. Since opening on December 21, she has focused on diversifying the products offered, aiming to attract a younger clientele with items like beauty products and accessories.
