Giulia Veronesi

Giulia Veronesi is the director of Thoracic Surgery at the IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, where she focuses on the early detection and treatment of lung cancer, a leading cause of cancer-related deaths in Italy. She is actively involved in the ARIA project, which aims to provide screening and prevention for lung cancer and cardiovascular diseases associated with smoking.
