Giuseppe Bracco, a 92-year-old resident of Monteu da Po, tragically became the sole victim of a devastating flood caused by severe weather in April 2025. Known as the village's carpenter, Giuseppe called his daughter in a desperate attempt for help as floodwaters rapidly filled his home. Despite her urging him to find safety on a table, help was unable to reach him in time due to the rapidly rising waters. His death shocked the small community where he was a well-known figure.
