Giuseppe Governale

Giuseppe Governale is a retired Italian Carabinieri general known for his leadership in the fight against organized crime in Italy. He previously headed the Anti-Mafia Investigative Directorate (DIA) and the Special Operations Group (ROS). Governale is an author, with works such as 'Gli sbirri di Sciascia' and 'Sapevamo già tutto,' where he explores the complexities of combating the mafia and the societal challenges it presents. Recently, he has been active in educating clergy on anti-mafia initiatives at the Theological Faculty in Palermo.
