Giuseppe Horna

Giuseppe Horna is the lead vocalist of Armonía 10, one of the most iconic cumbia orchestras in northern Peru. Recently, he has been in the news for expressing the emotional toll and trauma faced by artists in the wake of increased violence and threats against musicians in the region. Following a tragic shooting incident involving another cumbia group, he highlighted the need for enhanced security measures, including the use of bulletproof vests during performances, to ensure the safety of performers and their audiences while continuing to bring joy through music.
