Giuseppe Pella

Giuseppe Pella (1907–1981) was an Italian politician and member of the Christian Democracy party, who served as Italy's Minister of Foreign Affairs and later as Prime Minister from 1953 to 1954. His tenure was marked by efforts to strengthen Italy's post-war recovery and its alliances with Western powers, particularly through significant agreements with the United States. Pella played an instrumental role in the reconstruction of Italy's economy and in shaping its foreign policy during the early Cold War period.
