Giuseppe Scaglione
Giuseppe Scaglione is a pioneering figure in Swiss radio, best known for founding Radio 105, the first private youth radio station in Switzerland. He launched the station in 1998, driven by a desire to bring a more dynamic and engaging radio experience to Swiss listeners, inspired by the bolder styles of neighboring countries. Despite facing significant challenges, including a bankruptcy in 2014, Scaglione demonstrated resilience by reinventing his brand into My 105, which embraced digital streaming. After nearly 30 years in the industry, he recently announced his retirement and plans to move to Italy with his wife, Paola Libera, to fulfill his lifelong dream of living by the sea.
