Gizela Vuković

Gizela Vuković was a Serbian actress whose life story reflects the struggles of many artists. Born in 1926, she achieved fame in her early career but later faced severe financial difficulties that led her to live in a hotel room for over a decade. Despite her hardships, including caring for her sick daughter and autistic grandson, she remained devoted to her family. Vuković's life was marked by personal sacrifices, including her unfulfilled love for fellow actor Josip Bajić and a tumultuous marriage to singer Zvonko Bogdan. She passed away on March 29, 2015, at the age of 89, largely forgotten by the public.
