Glen Hector

Glen Hector, a 22-year-old labourer from Cumberland Village in East Canje, Berbice, was recently in the news after being charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and possession of an unlicensed firearm. He was arrested on July 1, 2025, and subsequently appeared before the magistrate's court, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges. Bail was denied, and he has been remanded to prison as the case is set to continue later this month.
