Gloria Montenegro Figueroa

Gloria Montenegro Figueroa was a prominent Peruvian politician who served as a congresswoman and as the Minister of Women and Vulnerable Populations. She was known for her dedication to public service and her advocacy for gender equality. Born in 1954, she began her political career as a provincial councilor in Trujillo in 2006, later becoming the mayor of the city in 2014.
