Godfrey of Bouillon

Godfrey of Bouillon was a key leader of the First Crusade and is remembered for his role as a military commander and for his subsequent title as Defender of the Holy Sepulchre. His leadership in battles such as Dorylaeum helped establish the Crusader states in the Holy Land.
