Goolam Vahed

Goolam Vahed is a South African academic and editor known for his contributions to the study of South Africa's political landscape, particularly in relation to the history of universities during the apartheid era. He co-edited the significant work 'University of Durban-Westville 1961–2003: Undoing Apartheid, Building a Non-Racial Culture,' which chronicles the role of the University of Durban-Westville as a site of resistance and transformation in the face of apartheid's segregationist policies.
