Goundi Thiombiano

Goundi Thiombiano, a 40-year-old mother of seven, is an internally displaced person (IDP) living in Fada N’Gourma, Burkina Faso. After fleeing her home in Madjoari due to a terrorist attack that claimed her son and left her husband missing, she has shown resilience by taking up hairdressing to support her family. Despite facing numerous challenges, she remains determined to improve her family's living conditions and is an inspiring example of strength among the displaced women in her community.
