Grace Su

Grace Su is an optometry graduate who recently returned to her practice in Tauranga after completing a rural placement in Whakatāne. She chose to pursue a career in optometry for her passion for science and a desire for a healthcare role that offers a more balanced lifestyle compared to traditional medicine. Su's experiences during her five-year degree, particularly her time in rural healthcare, have shaped her understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of serving communities with limited access to specialized medical services.
