Grisha Yakubovich

Colonel (res.) Grisha Yakubovich is a former head of the Civil Department for the Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT). He has extensive experience in Israeli military and civil operations in the West Bank and Gaza, and recently commented on Israel’s strategy of establishing buffer zones in Gaza, drawing parallels to previous military operations aimed at controlling areas and limiting movement in the region.
