Guðmundur Jónasson

Guðmundur Jónasson was a pioneering figure in the Icelandic transportation industry, known for founding Guðmundar Jónassonar hf. in 1931, which specialized in bus operations and was a trailblazer in highland tours during the mid-20th century. He passed away in 1985, leaving the management of the company to his children, who continue to operate under the name GJ Travel in Kópavogur.
