Guðrún Ragnars

Guðrún Ragnars is the chairperson of Thorvaldsensfélagið, an organization founded in 1875 by young women in Reykjavík, Iceland. Under her leadership, the society has celebrated its 150th anniversary, continuing its tradition of volunteer work and community support. The organization is known for its shop in Austurstræti, which sells Icelandic wool products, with all profits directed towards charitable causes, particularly those benefiting children and youth. Recently, Guðrún announced significant financial contributions from the society, including a generous donation of 50 million ISK to the Women's Shelter.
