Guadalupe Solano

Guadalupe Solano, known as 'Lupe' or 'Piochita,' is the daughter of the late Luis Guillermo Solano and has taken on the responsibility to continue her father's tradition of creating elaborate salt carpets for Semana Santa in San Salvador. Since 2019, she has not only honored her father's legacy by continuing the craft but has also introduced her unique artistic elements, including her specially designed dresses that enhance the message of the carpets. Lupe remains actively involved in the community, rallying support from various organizations to keep this cherished tradition alive.
